T-Mobile Hungary Intros 3G HSDPA Network Card

Europe : T-Mobile Hungary offers the latest netcard developed for portable computers, enabling customers to fully capitalise on the benefits of the operator’s broadband (3G/HSDPA) network - with speeds of 3 Mbps - being unique in Hungary.

With the Option GT-max 3.6 card, T-Mobile’s customers - through the operator’s broadband network covering 23 cities - can currently use the Internet at download speeds of 3 Mbps, increasing to 7,2 Mbps by next year.

Upon the introduction of the latest netcard altogether 5 HSDPA enabled devices (mobile phone, mobile computer, netcard and desktop modem) are offered by the largest Hungarian mobile operator, using which subscribers can enjoy download speeds without compromises in the 3G/HSDPA network.

In addition, the mobile operator offers further on the promotional purchase price of Samsung Z560, T-Mobile MDA Vario II, the web’n’walk Box desktop modem and the T-Mobile web’n’walk NetCard Compact as well as Option GT-max 3.6, conditioned upon subscribing for the Internet.

Since the latest announcement the broadband network enables high data speeds on the net already in Törökbálint and Szentendre, therefore T-Mobile’s broadband network - with data speeds up to 3 Mbps - is available to 28 percent of the Hungarian population.
