LG G2 Getting Android KitKat In March?

Google recently released Android KitKat for the LG-made Nexus 4 and things havn't gone smoothly. After installing the update users have been having huge problems with their devices, so perhaps it's a blessing to learn that the LG G2 won't get Android KitKat until next year.

With the Canadian division of LG announcing that the flagship LG G2 will get updated to Android KitKat in the 1st quarter of 2014, with March touted as the month when it'll roll-out.

We don't see any reason why it shouldn't roll-out in the UK at the same time, but like always those with SIM-free versions will get it the update earlier than those with operator-branded handsets.

If the information holds true, then the LG G2 will get KitKat later than the Galaxy S4 and HTC One which are due to get updated in January, but at least it gives LG time to iron out any bugs.

By next year Google themselves should also have got a better grip on the problems seemingly caused by upgrading from Jelly Bean to Android KitKat.

As soon as 3G get more news on the Android KitKat update for the LG G2 we'll let you know.
