BBC Sport App Now Optimised For Larger Tablets
BBC Sport application gets scaled up.
The BBC have released an updated version of its BBC Sport application which is now fully optimised for larger tablets.
The previous version was only designed for tablets up to 7 inches, which led to a slightly underwhelming experience on larger tablets. Based on user feedback they've now optimised the application for larger-screened devices.
Tablets benefiting from an improved BBC Sport experience include Apple's iPad Air, Sony's Xperia Tablet Z and Amazon's Kindle Fire 8.9". But all larger Android and iPad tablets will gain from the scaled up version of the application.
The BBC Sport application delivers the latest sports coverage including live text, radio and video coverage of sporting events. You can customise the application by sport or individual teams and a vast array of sports are featured including Football, Cricket, Rugby, Formula One, Tennis and much more.
It's been a particularly good month for sports fans with an Android tablet because earlier in December Sky released the tablet version of Sky Go. Sky Go enables Sky customers to watch live TV including premier league football, the Ashes and much more on the move.
