Amazon have cut the price of the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7" just in time for Christmas. The online giant has slashed the prices of the WiFi versions of its tablet by £30.

 

Meaning you can now pickup the 16GB of Amazon's quad-core tablet for just £169, with the 32GB and 64GB models now costing £199 and £229 respectively. And they'll be on your doorstep in time for Christmas with a variety of posting options available.

 

Those looking to take advantage of the new price cuts better move fast because they are only available for a limited time, with the higher prices set to return on January 2nd.

 

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7" is an excellent compact tablet that comes with a stunning 1920*1080 pixel display (323ppi) and is powered by a quad-core 2.2 GHz processor. That's the fastest processor of any 7" tablet and it's backed up by a whopping 2GB of RAM.

 

You also get a front-facing HD camera for video calling and it also comes with Amazon's 'MayDay' button, which offers you on-device support 24/7, 365 days a year. All of that and it runs on Android's bespoke operating system which is built around Google's Android platform.
