Samsung have announced that they've begun rolling out Android 4.1.2 for the Samsung Galaxy S3 in international markets , which includes the UK.

Samsung's Galaxy S3 has been the best selling smartphone for the last 7 months in the UK, so we know there is a huge amount of people out there who own the smartphone. Those lucky enough to own Samsung's smartphone should get a notification of the updates availability very soon and can download it over the air.

The update to the latest version of Android Jelly Bean brings a number of the Galaxy Note 2's features to the Galaxy SIII.

The first new addition is "Multiview" which lets users experience true multitasking by allowing more than one window to be open at once . Another new addition is the "Page Buddy" feature which opens dedicated home-screens based of certain conditions. For example,  when you connect headphones a music home-screen could be set to open.

Galaxy S3 users will also benefit from an updated Gallery application, customisable notification panel, smart rotation and continuous text input (similar to Swype). As always with new versions of Android it brings overall improvements in speed and stability !
