Samsung look set to release the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus next year according to information gleaned from a leaked ROM being reported by SamsungWorld.
The original Galaxy Pocket (pictured above) was a mid-range Android smartphone which launched earlier in the year and was priced under £100. For your money you got a 2.8 inch touch-screen, 800 Mhz processor, a 2 mega-pixel camera and 3GB of on-board memory.
We don't have any precise details on what specification the new Galaxy Pocket Plus will have but we do know it'll run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. That's quite an improvement from the original which ran on Android Gingerbread.
Interestingly, it also opens up the possibly that owners of the original Pocket could see their smartphone upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. However, at this time this is mere speculation and we'll have to wait and see whether our instincts prove correct.
As soon as 3G get any more information about the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus you'll be the first to know !
