Samsung ATIV S Landing Tommorow ?

By Simon Thomas on 10th December 2012

Originally, the Samsung ATIV S was meant to be one of the Windows Phone 8 launch devices. However, we're now well into December and the smartphone is yet to go on sale.

The online retailer Expansys have now claimed that the ATIV S will go on sale in the UK on December 12th. This contradicts information we heard late last month which suggested that Samsung's smartphone had been delayed until next year.

O2 will be the only operator offering the Samsung ATIV S initially in the UK and they've got the device listed as launching in December. We'll just have to wait and see if O2 make the smartphone available to buy this week !

You can find out more by visiting the O2 store by clicking here.

The Samsung ATIV was first unveiled back in August and will be Samsung's first Windows Phone 8 smartphone. It comes with a high-end specification including a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen, a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.

Samsung's Windows Phone 8 smartphone also comes with an 8 mega-pixel rear facing camera, a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel snapper and support for 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. 3G will be reviewing the ATIV S as soon as we get our hands on the smartphone, so keep posted !
