Nokia have released a new application called PhotoBeamer for the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. The application enables you to easily showcase your photographs on a separate display to share with your friends and family.
All you need to do to get your photographs displayed on another screen is open up http://photobeamer.com/ on the device you want to display your pictures with and then scan the QR code generated with your smartphone.
The smartphone will then upload the photographs automatically and instantly display them on your device's monitor. It works with all major browsers, although you will need to have a WiFi, 3G or 4G data connection on your smartphone to use PhotoBeamer.
When your photos are shared you can then scroll through them on your smartphone so that everyone can enjoy them in unison. You could even get someone in a remote location to share a QR code with you to transfer photos to them remotely !
The PhotoBeamer application is already available to download on the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820. While, Nokia have confirmed they'll be bringing it to Windows Phone 7.5 devices before the end of 2013.
