Huawei are going to have a busy first quarter of 2013 because they are already due to launch the Huawei Ascend W1 and unveil the 4G enabled Ascend W3. Now we've got details on another new smartphone due to be unveiled called the Huawei Ascend D2.
The Huawei Ascend D2, which is pictured above and below, was leaked by Chinese website Tenaa and reported by Techradar. The good news is that its another premium Android smartphone that'll compete with the likes of HTC's M7, Sony's Yuga and Samsung's Galaxy Note II.
The images don't tell us all that much about the Huawei Ascend D2 other than it'll come in White and that it'll have both front-facing and rear-facing cameras. However, luckily some details were leaked alongside the images , which give us a better idea of what to expect from the smartphone.
The Huawei Ascend D2 is expected to have a huge 5 inch touch-screen which will run at 1920*1080 pixels. Almost all the recently leaked premium Android smartphones are packing the same 1080p resolution and it looks like it'll be standard on next-gen mobiles.
The only other information provided was that the Huawei Ascend D2 will have a 2900 mAH battery giving it a weight of 170g. That is pretty hefty for a modern smartphone, while the dimensions are listed as 140x71x9.9mm.
Currently, 3G doesn't have anymore information on Huawei's Ascend D2, but as soon as we get more information we'll let you know.
