Google Nexus 4 - Now Available To Order Again !

By Simon Thomas on 05th December 2012

The Google Nexus 4 is now available to order again from Google Play , which is the first time it's been available  since it sold out shortly after it's launch. However, things arn't as promising as they might first appear.

Those ordering a Google Nexus 4 today won't get their smartphone for at least a month with the 8GB version listed as shipping in 4-5 weeks and the 16GB shipping in 5-6 weeks. Sadly, that means that the mobile won't ship in time for Christmas, which is disappointing.

The reason for the stock shortages is still unknown, but Google must have known that the smartphone would sell in huge amounts due to the value it offers.

The 8GB version of the Nexus 4 costs just £239 which is an amazing price for a quad-core Android Jelly Bean smartphone. While the 16GB version is priced at £279 which we anticipate might prove the more popular model.

We compared the Nexus 4 to Samsung's Galaxy S3 and Apple's iPhone 5 earlier in the year where it came out pretty favourably. You can read 3G's full Nexus 4 v Galaxy S3 v iPhone 5 comparison by clicking here.

The Google Nexus 4 is also listed as "Coming Soon" to Three , but the stock shortages have probably delayed its arrival on the operator. As soon as we get news about it arriving on Three we'll let you know or you can visit the Three store by clicking here.
