Last week we reported on speculation that the iPhone 5S was expected to launch in the first half of 2013. That information was based on leaked inners of the new iPhone originating from French sources.
New information has now reiterated the information and even went one step further by suggesting that the iPhone 5S will launch in June. Well-known analyst Peter Misek, from Jefferies, unveiled the June launch date in a newly issued report.
Misek's information comes from "supply chain checks" , which should prove pretty reliable. As well as unveiling the potential launch date of the iPhone 5S the new leak also gave details on the specification of the smartphone.
The specification of the iPhone 5S could include a new "Super HD" display and camera, while a better battery and NFC are also expected to be featured. A whopping 128GB of on-board memory is being hinted, while the iPhone 5S is expected to come in a choice of six to eight colours.
Misek claimed that a prototype iPhone 5S has been produced which has a Retina+ IGZO screen and a quad-core A7 processor. However, this is likely to be an early prototype because it's far too early for a final design to have been completed.
As soon as 3G hear anymore information about the iPhone 5S you'll be the first to know.
