Nokia have announced that a White version of the Nokia N9 will be launching in the 4th Quarter of 2011.

The gloss White N9 looks truly spectacular, as you can see from the picture above. White phones are hugely popular at the moment with the Xperia Arc S, iPhone and Samsung Galaxy all proving popular in the shade.

With White Land Rover Evokes seemingly everywhere, perhaps the demand for White smartphones can grow even more !

The Nokia N9 is a truly tragic case because its a fantastic smartphone, but it hasn't been adopted by any UK operators. Consequently, anyone in the UK wanting to get themselves a Nokia N9 have to buy it SIM-free.

Buying the smartphone SIM-free will set you back around £500 for a 16GB model and significantly more for the 64GB version.

For those who haven't come across the Nokia N9 before it has a 3.9 inch touch-screen, 1Ghz processor, 8 mega-pixel camera, NFC support and it runs on the MeeGo platform.

The guys at 3G think its such a shame that not one operator has taken a gamble of the Nokia N9.
