Blackberry have announced that a new version of the Twitter application for Blackberry will be launching in the next 24 hours.

Version 2.1 of Twitter for Blackberry will add support for multiple accounts , which enables you to use up to five accounts. You can easily switch between accounts using the "Switch Account" function and its easy to tell which one you are currently on by checking the name and picture in the top-left of the screen.

With the new Twitter application you can easily cross-post and retweet posts from one-account to another, even without having to change accounts. Making one post to all of the accounts simultaneously is also dead-easy.

The new version of Twitter for Blackberry also enables you to view multiple Twitter accounts in a single time-line, making it even easier to track all your accounts. Additionally, regardless of what account is currently selected you will still get message and mention notifications from all your accounts.

Version 2.1 of the Twitter application for Blackberry will be available to download for all Blackberry OS6 and OS7 smartphones within the next 24 hours. When it does become available it'll appear on the Blackberry App World.
