Twitter has completely revamped the appearance of its website, which should make tweeting much easier ! The new changes are reflected in updates to the Twitter applications for the iPhone and Android smartphones, which are now available to download.

The new redesign features a new menu which divides the website into 4 sections : Home, Connect, Discover and Me.

In the "Home" section users can view the latest Tweets from all the people they follow. Sadly, on mobiles videos and photos aren't embedded as they are on the PC , but you only need to navigate to another page to view them.

"Connect" is where you'll find out who is following you, re-tweeting you or sharing your Tweets.

The Discover section is one the most interesting additions because it enables you to view all the latest information and news based on your interest and location. The final section is "Me" where you can view everything related to your account and easily switch between multiple Twitter accounts.

The updated Twitter applications are available to download from the Android Market and AppStore right now.
