Sony Ericsson Offering 50GB Cloud-Based Storage To Xperia Owners
![]() |
Late last month Sony Ericsson announced they'd be offering 50GB of free cloud-based storage to Xperia smartphone owners. The storage is provided by Box who are an experienced cloud-based storage provider.
Owners of Xperia smartphones , released after the Xperia X10, can claim their 50GB of storage between December 15th 2011 to the 31st December 2012, so you've got loads of time!
All you need to do to get your free 50GB of storage is download the Box for Android application and log in to your Box account. Those without an account can easily create one in a matter of minutes.
Cloud-based storage is a much better way of storing data than on your mobiles memory because you don't have to worry if your mobile is lost or stolen. Additionally, the data can be accessed and updated on multiple devices from one location.
3G highly recommends backing up your data on a cloud-based storage solution such as Box's offering.
