Samsung Showcase Flexible AMOLED Concept Device
Concept Phone, Samsung, Samsung AMOLED
Samsung have released a new video showcasing a concept tablet with a flexible AMOLED touch-screen.
The video, which can be viewed above, shows a totally transparent bendable AMOLED touch-screen tablet. It also seems to have the capacity to change its screen-size with an invisible sliding-mechanism.
The concept tablet has the capacity to display a 3D holographic image, which is a truly mouth-watering prospect. The video also shows the tablet translating languages in real-time.
Obviously, this is just a concept device but its not as far from reality as you might think. Samsung have been working on flexible displays for a long time and recently announced they will be launching smartphones with flexible touch-screens by mid-2012.
Infact, recent rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy SIII could well feature a flexible touch-screen.
Once 3G hears anything more about devices with flexible touch-screens you'll be the first to know.
