With the Apple iPad 3 rumours doing the rounds it was about time we got some news about a new Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Now we've got news of a leak that suggests that a new Samsung Tablet, possibly called the Galaxy Tab HD, will launch with an 11.6 inch touch-screen. The touch-screen will run at an amazing 2560 x 1600 resolution which will provide amazing clarity and multimedia possibilities.

Impressively, the new 11.6 inch tablet is thought to be just a tiny-bit larger than the current 10 inch tablets. That's been made possible because it'll feature an amazingly thin-bezel compared to current tablets.

The Galaxy Tab HD is expected to have a 2GHz dual-core processor, which will prove all the grunt needed to power such a high-resolution screen. As you'd expect it also runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest and greatest Android operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab HD is expected to be showcased at the MWC in February and launch shortly after. Once 3G hears anymore news about the Galaxy Tab HD you'll be the first to know.
