Nokia confirmed that Symbian Belle would be coming to the Nokia N8 late last month. They've now confirmed that the mobile will be upgraded to the latest Symbian version early next year.
The Nokia N8 currently runs on Symbian^3 , which is showing its age compared to the latest Android and iOS operating systems.
The update to Symbian Belle will improve the N8 vastly and is long overdue ! Key improvements that the Nokia N8 will benefit from include a vastly improved user-interface which is both smoother and faster, better web-browsing and more home-screens with resizable widgets.
The Nokia N8 has been eclipsed by the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia N9 , but still retains some redeeming features.
The 3.5 inch AMOLED touch-screen still stands up to the competition, while the 12 mega-pixel is as fabulous as ever . The processor is a little slow at just 650MHz, but the on-board memory comes in at 16GB !
Once 3G get an exact launch date for the Symbian Belle update for the Nokia N8 we'll let you know.
