The Nokia Lumia 800 will be the official smartphone of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.

The film is probably the most anticipated film in the world right now and features Christian Bale returning to play Batman and Anne Hathaway starring as the Catwoman.

John Choo has managed to get a close-up look at the limited edition Nokia Lumia 800. The video shows him unboxing the stunning Lumia 800 Dark Knight Edition.

The smartphone has a full matte black exterior with the Batlogo engraved into the reserve. It also appears to come with a Dark Night application and a unique background featuring Bane, the bad-ass Batman has to overcome in the new film.

Those hoping to get their hands on the smartphone might end-up disappointed because only 40 are going to be made. We doubt very much whether these will go on general sale and even if they do they'll go for stupid amounts.

Even though this is a phone that we'll never get our hands on,  3G thought you might find it interesting to see what phone Batman buys when he pops into the Carphone Warehouse .
