Earlier in the month we reported that LG had released the LG TV Remote application for Android and iOS , which enables you to use your smartphone to control your LG Smart TV.

LG have now released a video-guide showing you exactly how to use the software. In essence its very simple and essentially you just need to connect both devices to the same WiFi network.

After completing the setup your smartphone will be able to control your TV as you'd expect and can even mimic the Magic-Motion pointer used on LG TV's. However, one of the main bonuses is you'll be able to use your smartphone's QWERTY keyboard to type on your TV.
