The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has now been on sale in the UK for a good couple of weeks, so its about time we see other mobiles getting updated to Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0).
Google have stated on their Twitter account that the Android 4.0 update for the Google Nexus S is now in testing. That's good news for owners of the smartphone, which was the first mobile to feature Android 2.3 when it launched last year.
The Google Nexus S is still a great smartphone that will benefit greatly from the update to the latest version of Google Android. You'll be able to use Face Unlocking, Visual Voicemail, Wi-Fi Direct and much more.

The Google Nexus S specification still stands up to many of todays mobiles and includes a 4 inch touch-screen, 1 GHz processor, 5 mega-pixel camera and 16GB of onboard memory.
Once 3G get an exact launch date for the Android 4.0 update for the Nexus S we'll let you know.
