Facebook have released a new version of their application for iOS devices.

The most significant new addition is the inclusion of Mobile Timeline, which is supported on the iPhone but not the iPad.

Mobile Timeline is an extended profile section where you can highlight significant stories/events in your life. Timeline support is expected to be extended to the Apple iPad in the coming weeks.

Facebook 4.1 also add access to friend lists, subscribers and subscriptions, which was lacking from previous versions. General performance improvements are also included, which are always welcome.
