Everything Everywhere

Everything Everywhere have announced that they'll continue to improve its mobile network throughout 2012. Everything Everywhere is the company that was formed when Orange and T-Mobile joined forces back in 2010.

They've already begun merging T-Mobile and Orange's network to provide better network signal and coverage to its customers and that is set to continue. Infact, they plan to improve the cross-network signal sharing by enabling mobiles to automatically select the stronger signal.

Equipment is also being improved which will also support the move to LTE when the spectrum becomes available in the UK. Infact, Everything Everywhere is investing a massive 1.5 billion in their mobile network over the next year.

Apparently, the cross network sharing is already paying off because using 326 billion KB of data, 1.33 billion calls and 5.5 billion texts  have been undertaken while using a signal from the alternative network.

We've already seen Orange announcing a price-increase , which will take effect in the New Year and 3G are hoping that T-Mobile don't follow suit. Whether this is a result of network improvements or just a reflection of increased inflation we're not sure , but either way a price-increase is never good.
