Blackberry have released a new version of Blackberry App World, which has a number of new features.

The first new addition is the "Request Gift" feature which enables users to ask one of their BBM contacts to buy them a gift from the App World. Their friend can then buy  the application requested by paying for it using either Paypal, credit-card or directly on their mobile bill.

Another new feature is the inclusion of content rating system, which enables parents to limit the applications their children can download.  Four rating categories have been added which are : Adult, Mature, Teen and General.

The final and most significant new addition is support for Wi-Fi only browsing, downloading and updating. This enables you to continue using the application when you only have WiFi access, which is a huge bonus because you don't have to use costly mobile data.
