Google has made selected premium Android applications available to download for just 10p.

The applications have been reduced to celebrate the Android Market hitting 10 billion downloads. That's 10 billion downloads hit since the Android Market first launched towards the end of 2008.

When looking at the graph, pictured above, you can see the rapid growth the Android Market has experienced. Infact, they've seen 4 billion downloads since July and they continue to get more month on month.

With the number of Android devices continuing to grow all the time , 3G expects them to achieve 20 billion downloads by this time next year , if not quicker.

As we mentioned earlier to celebrate Google has made a number of applications available to download for 10p. The applications available include Asphalt 6 : Adrenaline HD, Minesweeper : Pocket Edition and Soundhound.
