Samsung have officially confirmed on their Facebook page that the Samsung Galaxy SII and the Galaxy Note (pictured above) will be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) early next year.
Both smartphones will be upgraded to the latest Android version in the first quarter of 2012. That means the update could hit as late as March, but we'd expect it to be available sometime in January.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is already a best selling mobile and the upgrade to Android 4.0 will make it an even bigger rival to the iPhone 4S. The Galaxy Note is a hybrid device that sits in between a smartphone and a tablet and should continue to grow in popularity.

However, Samsung didn't give details about when the update would roll-out on the devices listed above, but Once 3G gets anymore news we'll let you know !
