7digital have announced they'll be launching a version of its music store application for the Windows Phone operating system.
7digital already have versions of its application available for Blackberry and Android smartphones, so the addition of Windows Phone seems like a natural extension.
With the 7digital application you can preview, stream and download over 17 million tracks. All the tracks and albums are competitively priced , so 3G recommends you check it out !
One of the main selling points of 7digitals music service is that all of the tracks are compressed, meaning you don't use up as much data when downloading them. Whether this is enough to compete with Nokia and Microsoft's Windows music stores we don't know !
However, as we always say more choice means more competition and ultimately lower prices for users. For that reason we welcome the addition of 7digital's music application to the Windows operating system.
We don't have a launch date for the 7digital application , but expect it to be available early next year.
