Quinox have launched a new device, alongside a complimentary application,which enables you to watch digital TV on your Apple iPhone or iPad.

The accessory receives digital TV signals which it then sends to your iPhone over a WiFi hotspot, which the device creates automatically. You can then connect to the hotspot using the custom-made application which then enables you to watch digital TV on your iPhone.

The device has a built-in battery which enables you to watch 3.5 hours of TV on one charge and is easily recharged by USB or with an iPad power adapter.

In the future the application is going to enable TV recording, which is a fantastic function once it becomes available.

The Equinux Tizi device is available to buy right now and costs £150, which is costly but only the same price as a freeview+ box.
