This month at a Samsung Developer day in Seoul, South Korea, one section of the event was dedicated to " bada : the next wave... ". This included the history of the bada operating system from bada 1.0, bada 1.2 and then introduced a new major bada update called bada 2.0.
bada 2.0 is planned to be ready sometime around the middle of 2011. Just to recap the bada 1.2 updates included were push notifications and Wi-Fi EAP.
A flow diagram of the history of bada is shown above whilst the intended changes are outlined below.

The Samsung bada 2.0 release is some 6 months away and although Samsung has a blueprint for the finished article, at this stage its very much in an ongoing development phase and we are sure more will be added. More when we hear more.
