Google has released a new version of it's Gmail software for Android.
The new version (2.3.2) is compatible with all mobiles running Android 2.2 (or later) and brings a number of great improvements.
The first new feature is the "Priority Inbox" which enables you to view all important messages separate from the rest. It works by using labels to set important messages and will automatically notify you when you get an important email by using a pre-set notification (ring, vibrate etc).
Composing messages has been improved and you can now easily switch between reply, reply all and forward while composing your message. You can also send messages from any email account you have configured in the desktop version of Gmail, which is very useful.
You can download the application from the Android Market.
