Dell Streak To Get Android 2.2 This Week

O2 have announced on their Twitter feed that the Dell Streak will be getting Android 2.2 (Froyo) this week.
The Dell Streak launched with Android 1.6 and that is currently still the only version available, until this update is released.
The new update will bring a number of improvements to the Dell Streak including the latest Android Market app and Google Voice navigation. It will also enable HD video recording, Adobe Flash support, the ability to use your tablet to create a personal WiFi network and general performance improvements.
The Dell Streak has a 5 inch touch-screen, 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor,16GB microSD card and is available exclusively from O2.
The tablet is available free on a contract costing £25 a month which gets you 3GB of data and unlimited Wi-Fi. You can view all the deals by clicking here.
