LG G2 - See a whole new level of innovative technology
Phone makers are increasingly realising that to win the hearts of consumers they need more than power, they need innovation too. LG has really taken this to heart with its latest flagship, the LG G2, which is about as innovative as they come. Need proof? Check this out in the video below.
With everything from putting the buttons on the rear for easy access and comfort, to being able to tap the screen twice to turn it on or off, LG has really thought outside the box. Then there’s a guest mode to keep your privacy intact when lending someone your phone, a universal remote control, an ‘Answer Me’ mode which lets you answer the phone just by putting it to your ear and multi-point camera focus to improve focus and depth of field when taking photos.
But LG hasn’t chosen innovation over specs, as with a 2.26 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM it’s probably the most powerful phone on the market. The LG G2 also has an enormous 5.2 inch full HD 1080 x 1920 display, a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation, 32 GB of storage and a big 3000 mAh battery.
It’s slim, has an almost edge-to-edge screen and delivers tremendous audio quality when listening through headphones. All of which is why it trumped both the iPhone 5 and the HTC One when we put them head to head.
The LG G2 isn’t perfect. Having the buttons on the back won’t be to everyone’s taste, it doesn’t have a micro SD card slot which means you’re stuck with the storage it comes with and it doesn’t even come close to the build quality of the iPhone 5 or the HTC One, but if you’d rather have substance than style then the LG G2 is one of the best handsets out there, matching world beating specs to heaps of innovation.
