What Are The Best SmartWatch Apps ?
The Sony Smartwatch is an Android accessory for Xperia smartphones which enables users to control their smartphone over Bluetooth.
A whole host of features can be undertaken on the Smartwatch including answering calls, reading texts, catching up on your social networking messages and checking emails. The accessory also supports a number of applications which are available to download from Google Play.
Sony have now highlighted some of the best applications available to download on the Sony SmartWatch and the folks at 3G thought you might be interested to hear about them !
The first application highlighted was "Google Maps" which enables you to follow directions on your Smartwatch's 1.3 inch touch-screen. You enter you destination on your smartphone and enable GPS which is then synced to your Sony Smartwatch and displayed on its touch-screen.
The second application selected by Sony is QuickNote which enables you to jot down ideas or lists quickly and easily. You can write notes using the Smartwatch's touch-screen with a 4*4 or 3*3 on-screen keyboard featured.
Another application recommended by Sony is the Smartwatch Universal Instant Messenger (IM) which enables you to connect with friends and family on multiple platforms including Facebook, Skype, Google+ and more.
The final application that comes with Sony's seal of approval is the Slideshow for Smartwatch application. The app collects all of your photos and creates a slide-show which is optimised for viewing on the Sony Smartwatch.
The Sony Smartwatch is available to buy for around £70 and is compitable with all of Sony's 2011 and 2012 Xperia smartphones.
