Samsung have officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 , which will launch globally in August. The official launch event is taking place next week in New York which is when we'll find out the launch date and price !
We first heard about the Galaxy Note 10.1 back in February and it hasn't changed much since that original leak. The big draw of the Note 10.1 is that it brings the S-Pen stylus interface into a tablet !
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a stunning 10.1 inch LCD display running at 1280*800 pixels , but it's the power of the tablet which really sets it apart. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, which should ensure the S-Pen interface runs smoothly.
Three different versions of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available with a choice of 16, 32 or 64GB of on-board memory, while all versions support microSD cards up to 32GB. Additionally, there will be a version supporting WiFi-only , as well as a 3G and WiFi version.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also comes with two cameras with both a rear-facing 5 mega-pixel camera and a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel snapper. A whopping 7000 mAh battery should ensure the tablet has excellent battery life, while it runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and we presume it'll be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean in the future.
Those buying the Galaxy Note 10.1 will also benefit from S-Pen optimised versions of Polaris Office and Adobe Photoshop, which come pre-loaded on the tablet. A whole host of S-Pen optimised software is already available which we assume will be now downloadable on the Galaxy Note 10.1.
3G will bring you more about the Galaxy Note 10.1 after its official launch event which is taking place in New York next Wednesday.
