The Motorola XOOM WiFi edition can now be upgraded to Android 4.0.4 according to information being reported by Coolsmartphone.
The tablet was upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich back in March in the US, while we've had to wait patiently in the UK for the update to land. Now some users have reported updating their XOOM to Android 4.0.4.
Last month Motorola also confirmed that the Motorola XOOM would be upgraded to Android Jelly Bean, which is the brand new version of Google's operating system. However, we're sure it'll be a couple of months before the update is out of testing and ready for download.
For now owners of the WiFi edition should be happy with the upgrade to Android 4.0.4 which will bring a whole plethora of improvements and new features to their tablet. You can read all about the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system by clicking here.
