Windows Phone 7.5 ( IS12T )

The first Windows Phone 7.5 ( Mango ) smartphone has been officially unveiled by KDDI in Japan. This is the first Windows Phone 7.5 in the world to be launched and is made by Fujitsu Toshiba model no IS12T.

 

KDDI confirmed that the the first Windows Phone 7.5 ( IS12T ) would be launched in September . The Windows Phone 7.5 update is called Mango and uses a tile based interface which comes with a people hub in lieu of an address book. This can be seen clearly in the excellent video below produced by DigiInfo TV.

 

A KDDI spokesman said that were impressed by the simple and smooth Mango user interface. It's no surprise with this smartphone that you can open and edit windows office documents and store up to 25GB of data using the Microsoft Cloud Data service.

 

The IS12T Fujitsu Toshiba smartphone comes with a 3.7 inch wide VGA display screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of internal storage and a 13 megapixel rear camera.

 

3G are impressed that it is also waterproof and dustproof and comes in citrus, magneta and black colours. The colours were chosen to match the Mango user interface colours and produce a themed handset.

 

3G like many other phone users eagerly await to see a Windows Phone 7.5 ( Mango ) in the UK. It wont be the S12T as this has been specially developed for the Japanese market.
