Vodafone have released "My Vodafone" for Android smartphones. "My Vodafone" enables customers to keep on top of their account by checking how much data they've used, how many minutes they've got left and just how many texts they've sent.

Furthermore, the application enables you to view your current and previous Vodafone bills , as well as the date when your current contract expires. This is definitely a good application and one that a lot of parents will be demanding their children install on their mobiles so they don't have an excuse for excessive mobile bills.

The application has some even better features because it will enable you to keep on top of your mobile roaming charges when on holiday or business abroad.

However, there is a feature that trumps all of them. The "My Vodafone" application enables you to scan and search for BT WiFi hotspots, which are included in many Vodafone tariffs. You can then get directions to the nearest hotspot from Google Maps.
