Nokia N9 Now Due In September ?
![]() |
Last month we reported that the Nokia N9 would be launching August, but it now seems the Nokia N9 has been put back to September.
Orange Switzerland have added the new MeeGo smartphone to its shop with the launch date listed as September 15th. Even though this doesn't guarantee the UK launch date it's a pretty good indication.
The Nokia N9 runs on the MeeGo operating system which features the "Harmattan" interface that supports a number of swipe-gestures with one for returning to your home-page. Three seperate home-screens are also supported on the N9.
The specification of the Nokia N9 includes a 3.9 inch touch-screen, 8 mega-pixel camera with Carl Zeiss Lens and a 1 GHz processor. Other features include support for NFC, Dolby Digital Plus support and Dolby headphone post-processing.
Sadly, the price isn't listed on the Orange Switzerland website but we'd expect the price to be over £400 because of the high-quality specification.
Once we hear more about the Nokia N9 launch in the UK and its price we'll let you know.
