Motorola Defy+ Launching In September ?

Motorola Defy

The Motorola Defy+ has been rumoured to be launching for a couple of weeks now.

The original Motorola Defy (pictured above) launched earlier this year and was a tough-phone which was both water and dust proof , as well as scratch resistant. For a tough-phone it also had a good specification which made an appealing mobile for both work and your social life.

According to the latest news the Motorola Defy+ will be launching on O2 in Germany in September. This doesn't guarantee it'll launch in the UK, but we see no reason why it wouldn't. The Defy+ is apparently going to be priced at 300 euros, which is around £250.

The Defy+ will follow up on the success of the original , but will feature a vastly improved specification. The only things known about it are that it'll run on Android 2.3 and be powered by a 1GHz processor.

That alone is enough for us to get excited because it's a vast power improvement. The original Defy had a 3.7 inch touch-screen and we can't see that being downgraded and it also had a 5 mega-pixel camera. You can read our review of the original Motorola Defy by clicking here.

Once we hear more about the Motorola Defy+ here at 3G, we'll be sure to let you know.
