The HTC Sensation is a super-powerful smartphone that launched earlier this year. We've now heard news that its getting even better because the Android 2.3.4 update has begun rolling out on SIM-free versions in Germany.

Android 2.3.4 fixes a number of bugs and security flaws present in Android Gingerbread, but also has one flagship new feature.  This new feature is that it adds support for video calling in  Google Talk ,  which enables you to make free video calls to your friends.

Video calling has resurfaced as a new trend of late. We've seen this before when 3G launched, but the cost of the video calling may have put people off at that time. The new video-calling is being made available free using mobile data so it should grow in popularity over the next couple of months.

The HTC Sensation has a great specification which includes a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard memory. Infact, our review of the HTC Sensation even concluded that its specification is too high in relation to the features it supports.

Update: We've just heard that the update will be hitting the UK on Vodafone this week, so not long to wait for all you HTC Sensation owners.
