HP Touchpad Gets Firmware Upgrade

The HP Touchpad can now be upgraded to webOS version 3.0.2 over-the-air.
The new version of HP's operating system brings a number of improvements to the tablet. The HP Touchpad benefits from a general improvement in performance, stability and some bug fixes. Furthermore, a lot of the core applications have been improved in response to consumer requests.
The calender now has a quicker search for finding events and improved handling of meeting cancellations. The email now benefits from faster scrolling , improved message and content display and better handling of draft emails.
The music playback now has less skipping when multi-tasking and a better album art display. Photos are now dealt with faster and more realiably, including photo albums.
The text assist now corrects your mistakes even faster and with great accuracy, while the HTML support in the browser has improved performance. The web-browser scrolling is also now compatible with more web-sites. The screen rotation has also been made less sensitive , which was a complaint of many users of the HP Touchpad.
The HP Touchpad was already one of the better tablets around and these improvements to the already excellent HP webOS make it even more desirable.
