Viruses Now On Android Mobiles
![]() |
A new virus has been found that infiltrates Android smartphones.
The virus disguises itself as a media player application and once installed will send out texts to premium numbers with the virus producers getting a share of the profits.
It's a rather worrying thing that viruses are now hitting mobiles but when something becomes so complex its inevitable.
For the moment its thought the world is still quite safe because the program only targets Russian users, but it'll only be a matter of time before European hackers get hold of it and produce their own version.
There are a number of anti-virus programs for mobiles and this will definitely be a growth area over the next couple of months.
Just remember to be extra careful before installing applications folks !
