Virgin Mobile will be the first to offer the Alcatel VM202 which is a GPRS mobile phone on Pay As You Go. Virgin Mobile will have an exclusive on the Alcatel VM202 for the first month and also on the the ‘Dazzle Pink' edition.
A full specification can be found below. Virgin Mobile will include a free 1GB micro SD memory card with the phone. The Alcatel VM202 as can be seen from the photos above is a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. With the phone held upright, navigate through the menus using the traditional keypad or flick out the slider to automatically switch the screen to landscape to browse the web or quickly type longer messages.
The Alcatel VM202 features easy access to Facebook, Twitter, Instant Messenger, email and Opera Mini to enhance web browsing.
Also included included is a MP3 player, 3.5mm standard audio jack, FM radio with RDS which can also be used as an alarm clock, VGA camera and up to 480 hours standby time.
