Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will be upgraded to Android 2.2 (Froyo).
Android 2.2 is the latest version of Google operating system and will bring a number of improvements to the already brilliant Samsung Galaxy S. Android 2.2 is around 2-3 times faster than previous versions, which will improve the Samsung Galaxy S instantly. With Android 2.2 you can also create a personal Wi-Fi network using your mobile , so you can share your internet connection with other devices in the area, such as your laptop or PSP.
Another new addition is the capability to store applications on a microSD card, which means you can free up memory on the mobile for more important data such as photos or videos.
