The Nokia X6 is now available in a new 8GB version which offers an alternative to the original 16GB X6 and the premium 32GB version.

In every other way the new version is identical to the higher memory version. The specification includes a 3.2 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 360*640, 5 MP Camera , 3G and WiFi connectivity and a 434 MHz processor. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone socket, an FM radio , media player and built-in social networking applications.

The Nokia X6 8GB is substantially cheaper than its predecessor and will be available on contracts start at just £20 a month, which will get you 300 minutes and unlimited texts.

The Nokia X6 8GB will be launching later this month on both Three and Vodafone.
