Earlier this month we brought you rumours of a new Huawei Android mobile called the Ideo.

The rumour has now been proved right and Huawei have announced the Ideo (U8150) will launch on September 2nd in the UK.

The specification of the Huawei Ideo includes a 2.8 inch touch-screen , 3.2 mega-pixel camera and built-in GPS. It's powered by a 500 MHz mobile processor, has 512MB of onboard memory and will support both 3G and WiFi.

In terms of software the Huawei Ideo will feature all the Google applications, such as Google Maps, Google Mail and will come pre-loaded with the Google Chrome browser.

No price was confirmed by Huawei but it's thought that it will cost around £200 Sim-Free.
