The Google Mobile App has been updated for the iPhone to receive Google mail ( Gmail ) push notifications. A Gmail icon now appears when you receive new Gmail. Google Calendar events appear on the right on your home screen.

Head over to the App store and search for Google Mobile App to update your iPhone .

Other improvements make it easier to get you information faster e.g. when looking for flight info, weather, stock quotes or currency conversion - the results will be displayed before hitting the search function button.
