New 3G Mobile Broadband Plans on Orange

UK : Livestation have launched a streaming application for iPhone, which enables live TV broadcasting on the iPhone. The application uses Akamai Media Delivery and generates revenue for the broadcasters through the purchase price of $2.99 from the App Store.

 

Channels currently featured include BBC World News, Bloomberg, ITN and Aljazeera. The streams are of very high quality, being 96Kbps over 3G or 300Kps over WiFi.

 

The application is available on the iPhone app store now and costs a one-off fee of $2.99.
