In Black is a single-player action-packed yet light-hearted adventure
game in which the player takes on the challenging role of Field Agent
Jay. Set in New York City, the game features the key locations and action
scenes from the film including MiB Headquarters, the subway under worm
attack and Jeebs Pawn Shop. Each location has its own unique style and
plot based on key characters and events. The player moves around the
different locations by selecting from a number of options, hunting aliens
and fighting interplanetary immigrants along the way. Field
Agent Training is a simple multiple-choice trivia game. Set in the shadowy
world of the mysterious Men in Black, the game places the player in
the shoes of a rookie Field Agent. The player must correctly answer
a number of multiple choice questions relating to both the fictitious
Men in Black universe and popular X-File culture to gain promotion to
the top of the MiB chain of command. Mobile phone owners are also able to bring their phones to life with a collection of Men in Black II themed downloadable personalisation services such as ringtones based on the movie soundtrack as well as icons, logos, picture messages and voicemail greetings featuring many of the wise-cracking Men in Black II aliens. Furthermore, special DVD-style packages offering games and mobile entertainment services via credit points are available to buy off the shelf in selected High Street stores. "Digital
Bridges remains committed to bringing some of the most popular entertainment
properties to mobile phone users," said Brian Greasley, Chief Executive
Officer at Digital Bridges. "Men in Black II promises to be one
of the biggest movies of the year and this will be the richest mobile
entertainment offering to support a movie to date, encompassing multiple
game titles, technologies and an entire suite of additional mobile entertainment
offerings."
