Nokia have unveiled a couple of new smartphones which come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1. They are fundamentally the same devices but the Lumia 635 comes with 4G LTE connectivity, while the 3G-enabled Lumia 630 is available in both single and dual-SIM variants.

The Lumia 635 (pictured above) is Nokia's most affordable 4G smartphone and sets itself apart from the Lumia 630 with its high-gloss finish and unique dual-layered, glowing surround. While, the Lumia 630 comes in a matt-finish and is available in a choice of eye-catching colours.

Both smartphones feature 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480 pixels) ClearBack LCD displays and are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processors backed up by 512MB of RAM.  Onboard storage weighs in at 8GB, which is expandable by another 128GB using microSD cards.

They also have 5 mega-pixel cameras with Autofocus and come with 1830mAH batteries. Windows Phone 8.1 comes pre-loaded on the smartphones and they come complete with Nokia's suite of applications including Nokia HERE Maps, Nokia MixRadio and more.

The Lumia 630 will rollout in May (beginning in Asia, Russia, China, India and Europe) and will be priced at $159 (£95) for the single-SIM version or $169 (£101) for the dual-SIM model. While, the Nokia Lumia 635 will be available to buy in July (in the US first) for $189 (£113),
